Scope & Content 1834 ledger account of Louis Dufous for a wide variety of goods and services obtained from James T. O'Neill. These goods ranged from household items (food, dry goods, cloth, sewing implements, alcoholic beverages, tobacco, etc.) to tools (nails, hatchets, chisels, hinges), and included the hire of a "Negro". Payment (in full) of $424.71 3/4 and was received on March 28th 1835 in St. Mary's , GA. [Note: On the back of the document, beneath the notation, " Recd Paymt., Louis Dufous", appears the name, Mr. James A. (unreadable)].
