Letter addressed to Postmaster, Fernandina, Florida.
The writer notes that the Bureau has been informed that the name of Nassauville (a village on north side of Nassau River, 4 mi. south of O'Neil) has been changed to Goffinsville. 1935 Post route map of florida shows Nassauville a discontinued post office. Nassauville is also used on three charts of Coast and Geodetic Survey and 1919 U. S. Geological survey map. Changing the name requires action of U. S. Board on Geographical Names. Writer desires to know which name is preferred.
