Fernandina, Fla. Sept. 6th,1876
Chas. W. Lewis Esq.
Mr. M. J. R. Drake makes application to teach the School at Port Henry. On examination of his qualifications, standing and character as a teacher, I find him well qualified for not only a second level first Class Certificate. You will therefore please apace to hire him of the second class and contract with him to teach the Port Henry School for the missing term or as long as he may want to teach there for the pay designated by the Board.
