Magnetic correction of of Centre St. 84 degrees 47 minutes East
Traverse of Survey of Koerner's Survey 1879. Area = 7.65 Acres.

According to Hal Belcher, this survey "appears to cover the land bounded by Old Town, North 12th Street, Nassau Street and New Street. This same land is shown on the City assessment maps as 'City Cemetery' and was apparently so designated when the railroad laid out the town." Mr. Belcher wrote this information in a letter dated 5 April 1988 and addressed to Mr. Wesley R. Poole, Esq., City Attorney, City of Fernandina Beach, Fla.
