1) Three clippings from the June 1947 "Florida Highways", Vol. 15, No. 7, detailing minutes of the State Road Dept.'s Meeting that addressed the proposed construction of a toll road to connect Amelia Island with Heckscher Drive (SR 105).

2) July 24, 1947 newspaper clipping from the Jacksonville Journal about the project to construct a scenic highway between Jacksonville and Fernandina.

3) March 1, 1949 Jacksonville Journal newspaper clipping entitled, " Way is Cleared to Start Work on Highway 105".

4) March 1, 1949 Fla Times Union notice of Fernandina Port Authority's new issuance of toll road revenue bonds for $4.6 million dollar project to extend Highway 105 to Amelia Island.
