Dear Mr. Thompson
I was very sorry when I heard of your unfortunate accident this am and sincerely trust that you will soon be among us once more. I thought you had had experience enough in gunshot wounds not to go and inflict them on yourself. Mr. M. N. has taken the ? and as we got the responses in to the audit today. I am feeling somewhat relieved and will be able to jog along very well now until the 1st of July by which time I hope both Mr. D & yourself will be here. In the meantime rest assured that every thing will be done to keep up the work in the office and keep everything straight. Hoping that you will soon be able to come over I remain
