1, Cover letter to Mr. S. D. Swann, Fernandina Fla, dated Aug. 13, 1889
from James M. Dancy, Chief Clerk (Department of the Interior, Office of U. S. Surveyor General, Tallahassee, Florida) stating that papers from official record of the Clerk's office regarding the claim of Susan Cashen for 250 acres in Township 3 North Ranges 28 & 20 East "Amelia Island" are included.
2. Plat and description of the claim of Susannah Cashen for 250 acres on Amelia Island. Hand-drawn map included as well as detailed description.. Claim bordered by D. Fernandez, J. Baschlot. Claim approved by John Westcott, Surveyor General, St. Augustine 10 June 1857
"translation" signed by John Purcell on Amelia Island 30th of Nov. 1807. Also signed by George J. F. Clarke in Fernandina on 2nd February 1816 certifying examination of plat as requested by Don James Cashen. Document translation is certified by Thos. Murphy.
3. "Translation" of James Cashen of Amelia Island on 27 Sept. 1805 to the Governor for a grant of 250 acres. Also ceritifed by White in St. Augustine 7 Oct. 1805 and Thos. Murphy.
4. To the Honourable Commissioners (appointed to ascertain claims and titles of Lands in East Florida) from Susannah Cashen, widow of James Cashen.

Situated on Amelia Island. Bounded on the N. and E. By lands of Mer Jordine, on the W. and S. by vacant lands. The lst line runs S 10degrees E 64 chains. The 2nd line N 80 degrees E 32-1/2 chains. The other lines are not laid down.
