Description Civil War Artifacts recovered from various sites in Jacksonville (LaVilla); Fernandina and Western Nassau County. Several disparate artifacts are included in this record. Some are hard to positively identify so best estimate is given below. They include:

-horse brush and horse grooming combs from Union cavalry.
-piece of iron hammer head
-belt buckle with U.S. insignia
-portion of broken pot hanger.
-artillery shell piece head.
-hoof scraper.
-knapsack hook
-horse strap piece.
-gun strap sling.
-Justice horse brush
