Porte C. Tracy was the grandson of E. D. Tracy and the son of Ada Byron (Tracy) Hatcher. Ada Byron (Tracy) Hatcher was the daughter of E. D. Tracy, the mother of Porte C. Tracy, and the wife of Robert Hatcher. In this letter to his mother, Porte mentions that he is currently stationed in Jamaica, GA for a week and that he has a headache and that he suspects it's his tonsils This collection of correspondences, photographs, personal items, and maps are from the life of Erasmus Darwin Tracy and Port Creyon Tracy.
