Porte C. Tracy was the grandson of E. D. Tracy and the son of Ada Byron (Tracy) Hatcher. Robert Hatcher was the husband of Ada Byron Tracy, the son-in-law of E. D. Tracy, and the step-father of Porte C. Tracy. A collection of letters from Porte to various people regarding a right-of-way lease with the Chattahoochee Brick Company Railroad Builders. Included is also a letter from the company to a Mr. Leon Wilson, attorney for Ness, (Robert) Hatcher, and (Porte) Tracey. This collection of correspondences, photographs, personal items, and maps are from the life of Erasmus Darwin Tracy and Port Creyon Tracy. This collection was donated by the Verne Johnson Pickren, Jr. family for all to enjoy. |
