File copies of monthly financial report forms from Fernandina Post Office to U.S. Postmaster, forms 1550-D, 1550-A and 1550-A, (Combined), from April 1, 1936 thru Dec. 31, 1942. Form 1550-D is "Clerk Hire and City Delivery Payments". 1550-A is "Transcript of Post Office Cash Book". 1550-A (Combined) are the two reports on one document, front and back. Reports cover one, two and three months, with cumulative data reset quarterly, using time periods Jan. 1 to Jan. 31, Jan. 1 to Feb 28 (29), Jan. 1 to March 31 and three other quarters ending June 30, Sept. 30 and Dec. 31. Some reports also had irregular closing dates for May. There are some gaps in the records. Most of the forms were filled in by hand and signed by the Postmaster. The local Post Office was Number 78545. Postmasters during the period included T.G. Ozmer and Louis Goldstein, acting Postmaster Ethel M. Ozmer, and assistant Postmaster R. H.
