Jane Wood Comer is the great granddaughter of Jane Acosta McKenny whose grandfather was Domingo Acosta. Jane's parents were Eustace J. and Catherine Hatcher Acosta. Jane's sister, Ida, took a sleeping papoose while Indians were trading in her father's store. The papoose was later returned to its parents. |
