An interview with Florence Crowder by Peggy Bulger about her connection to Gerbing Gardens. Florence Crowder travels the world identifiying camellias for the Library of the American Camellia Society. She relates a story of finding a very rare purple Rose camellia at Gerbing Gardens. Of the 460 camellias known to have existed in the 1900's in the US, she believes 250 have been located. |
