This envelope contained the 8 prints of the Florida National Guard Heritage Art Series. This set of prints was produced for the Florida National Guard Historical Art Committee through the generosity of the National Guard Officers Association of Florida. Published July 1993. Assault on Fort Mose, A Florida National Guard Painting by Jackson Walker. Fort Mose, Anastasia Island, Florida, 26 June 1740. After abandoning Fort Mose earlier, a Spanish force consisting of former garrison members and the local Black militia attacked and defeated the British military occupying the fort. |
