This ledger is a detailed account of the meetings of the Women's Organ Fund Society of the First Baptist Church, January, 1928, through March, 1930. Several prominent women of the time are featured (e.g. Waas, Haile). The Society was formed to raise funds for purchase and installation of a church organ. Included with the ledger is a very entertaining synopsis of the play, "Aunt Lucia" which was performed as a fund raiser for the Society in January, 1930. |
