1856 Probate Document (Original): "State of Florida County of Duval To all to whom these present, shall come meeting Where as James T. O'Neal has this day been appointed Guardian for, the persons and Estate of the heirs of Mrs. E. L. Fernandez deceased; namely E. A. E. and I. D. Fernandez, (Minors), after having been duly qualified. Now Know Ye, That the Guardianship of the persons and Estate of the aforesaid Minors, is this day Granted to the said James T. O'Neal, until said Minors shall arrive at the age of twenty one years, or until further order of this Court in the premises. Witness my name as Judge of Probate and the seal of this Court -- this 22nd day of September AD, 1856 Bery.[?] Hopkins, Judge Probate Duval Cty." On the back of the document is the notation, "Letter of Guardianship", handwritten in ink. |
