Aerial Photo of Port of Fernandina, 1990. - Print, Photographic
This aerial photo of the Port of Fernandina was presented to Gene Lasserre at the conclusion of his long service on the Ocean Highway & Port Authority. The last nine years he served as Commissioner of the OHPA. The photo provides an excellent overview of the port facility at time. There is a plaque on the bottom reading: "Ocean Highway and Port Authority. COMMISSIONER E.E. "GENE" LASSERRE. 1953-1990.

Approximately 20 small envelopes (plus assorted desid.) containing numerous artifatcs discovered by Gene Lasserre and family/friends in early 1970 at various locations on Amelia Island and nearby. Locations include: Historic Fernandina Old Town Fort San Carlos South End Mission Fort Fisher Piney Island The artifacts include buttons, bullets, toys, a watch, pins, coins, and various other items.
