Arts Council Totems 1 - Photograph
In 2015, the Arts Council sponsored a project whereby artists from the Island Art Association teamed up with various arts and culture organizations to create "totems" representing each organization. These totems were installed in April on a vacant lot next to what used to be the Christmas Shop on Centre Street. They stayed for almost a year until the City of Fernandina Beach sold the property. Piece by Piece - Book
Book chronicling the Island Art Association's process of revitalizing their building via the creation and installation of a mosaic. The mosaic itself wraps around the structure and is composed of various shards of pottery, glass, and other materials collected from the community. The Island Art Association building can be found at 18 North 2nd Street in downtown Fernandina Beach.
