    Replica of the Key from the Post Office on Old Town Fernandina, FL mounted on gray board. This Post Office was located in the general store of Domingo Acosta, who was appointed the first postmaster on August 31, 1821, when Florida became a territory. The original key is in the possession of Thomas G. Hall, Jr., of Fernandina, a great-great grandson of Domingo Acosta.
