Possibly a pair of iron 'Bilbo' shackles. One large and one smaller set of what appears to be Bilbo schackles. Bilbo shackles were a kind of restraint used in the 18-19th centuries. Tombstone of Maggie Helper in original section of Bosque Bello (Meddaugh plot). Her father, H. H. Helper was apparently a friend of the Meddaughs and was brought to Fernandina as Superintendent of Contrabands (freed slaves).
