Summary |
This book presents life-like pictures of the finest varieties of Camellias grown in America. It includes information on the habit and appearance of different kinds and clarifies the nomenclature of the Camellia family. A page of the Florida Times-Union dated Sunday, September 25, 1966 containing an article named, "Seeds Nurses for Camellia Propagation" was tucked in to the front of the book. A newspaper clipping dated Nov 1948 of Garden Notes of the Federated Circles of the Garden Club of Jacksonville that has an article "Camellias are Blooming" and "The Camellia Show" was also in the book. Two 8.5 X 13.5 inch pieces of graph paper handwritten in pencil listing the names of over 100 varieties of Camellias were also tucked in the book. Typed list of camellias dated 1943 with the name A.
