A photo of George and Frances Green. Outside of time away for military service, George Green as well as his ancestors dating back to 1800, have lived on the Southern end of Amelia Island. It was his great grandparents, Gabriel Means and Edith Drummond Means, who donated the land for and built in 1888 the Franklin Town Church and School. Deacon Green is the chairman of the Trustee Board and his wife, Frances, serves as the financial secretary. |
