.25 Caliber pistol From the Nassau County Jail; confiscated after a woman was brought to the jail for booking. The gun was found smuggled in the woman's bra. Originally, deputies were not allowed to touch female perpetrators or prisoners during arrest. After the matron was preparing the woman for booking, the gun fell out of her bra. The woman had rode all the way to the jail in the patrol car with the gun hidden. After this incident, deputies were allowed to touch the center of a woman's chest to determine if there was a concealed weapon. |
