Dickison and His Men - Book
This book is one of the few surviving first hand accounts of the Civil War in Florida. As the leader of the 2nd Calvary regiment, Major John Jackson Dickison led his men in actions throughout the war around Jacksonville and northeast Florida. Union commanders called him "Dixie" and the land he controlled "Dixieland".
