    This is the incredible story about the role of a patricular group of religious women who came from France to Florida and Georgia immediately following the Civil War. These Sisters came to educate liberated slaves. The first eight Sisters and those who followed them established free schools, academies, orphanages, nursed during yellow fever epidemics, and more. Page 68 shows a photo collection of the Sister's of St. Joseph.
