  7. Fired Minié ball - Bullet, Minie

    Fired Minié ball (89-5-4398). Invented in 1849, the Minié bullet, or Minni ball, is a cylindrical bullet for rifled muskets with a hollow base that expanded when fired and was lethally accurate over relatively long distances.
